Websites: http://www.cosortho.com/drbios/laxer.htm Dr. Eric Laxer is a member of the physician staff of the Charlotte Spine Center, a division of Charlotte Orthopedic Specialists. He was formerly a partner of the Orthopedic Department of Nalle Clinic. A native of Canada, Dr. Laxer Graduated from Vanier College in Montreal with First Class Honors. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from McGill University. After completing medical school, Dr. Laxer completed his residency in orthopedics at the Montreal General Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital, Jewish General Hospital, Montreal Children's Hospital and the Shriner's Hospital and the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children. Dr. Laxer received the Eugene Rogala Prize for Resident Orthopedic Research in 1993. Dr. Laxer completed a fellowship training program in spine surgery at McGill University, followed by a second year of fellowship training in spine surgery at the buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Laxer is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Laxer
is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He has given presentations at
orthopedic meetings and co-authored papers on orthopedic and spine surgery
